Stantyway Farm, Otterton, Devon EX9 7JJ

About us

Stantyway Farm is a 300 acre organic mixed farm on the Jurassic Coast of East Devon. We produce wheat, oats, beans, quinoa, grass, lucerne and clover to sell to specialist organic markets or to feed to our suckler cows and their calves.
We also have a range of farm projects going on, including an Honesty Cafe and the restored Brandy Head Observation Post offering clifftop accommodation for up to six people.

Wildlife

We are currently in Organic Countryside Stewardship with a particular emphasis on protecting endangered Cirl Buntings. The habitats we have helped create and the organic farming system we operate benefit a wide range of species - see the wildlife pages for more information.

Visit Stantyway

A network of public and permissive footpaths links the farm to the South West Coast Path. The Stantyway Honesty Cafe offers refreshment to weary walkers and visitors can stay in Brandy Head Observation Post. We also run school and educational visits as part of our Countryside Stewardship Programme - please get in touch for more information.

Pebblebed Beef

We sometimes graze rarebreed North Devon cattle on part of the East Devon Pebblebed Heaths, in conjunction with the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust and our landlord, Clinton Devon Estates.
This is helping achieve their conservation objectives and providing some excellent beef and we are selling joints, steaks, mince etc from the freezer at Stantyway. For the more adventurous, we are offering discounted rates on an eighth of a bullock - approx 20kg beef box. Please click here for more information or email us to place an order.
